Winter is ticking along, no doubt we will be getting more cold weather. Today, however, has been beautiful. I moved the last of my raw materials into my container today, hope I have organised it to make finding what I want when I want it easy. We'll see, but I do like rummaging through stuff for inspiration for the next idea.
I have also almost finished potting up a heap of succulents for the market. I started this project up so I could offer people a plant to go into the pot they just bought from me and to show customers what the pots look like with a plant in them, but then I had an idea that donating $1.00 from every plant I sold to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This organisation is, of course, close to my heart as my family have the gene which causes the disease. My son has muscular dystrophy and my daughter like myself is a carrier. I have potted up heaps of baby plants and put them in the greenhouse ready for spring and the new market season starting in October.
The Artisan Craft Market has another Winter market in August but I won't be there, have a holiday planned, but I am always open by appointment and welcome your visit. Just contact me on messenger or phone.
