I have been rather remiss about writing a post lately, lots going on. No excuse though is it. The rain was very welcome here in Blenheim, not so much Dunedin, well not all at once. My sister Andrea and her family are ok, pretty frightening though. We never know when things like that are going to relent. Nature is so powerful. Which is why we all need to do our bit to reduce landfill and reduce the effects of global warming.
Composting reduces the amount of household waste and great for the garden. Upcycling old or unwanted crockery, glass, porcelain and ceramics is another little way.
My work colleges and myself have had a rough time lately with the illness and ultimately the death of our friend. We had a lovely lunch Wednesday of fish and chips and coke, 1 of her favourite meals. We let off lots of purple and pink balloons and for me it was a time to say goodbye. Goodbye but never forgotten. I do have a project in mind which I will post when complete.
Here are a couple of photos of other work I have finished.
