Well what a delicious smell when I went to the letterbox yesterday after work. Light rain falling and the winter sweet was at its best. I pick a bunch for the house and for the shed. The rain got heavier but this was good for the garlic I planted earlier in the week.
Perfect day for grouting, not too cold and can't do anything outside anyway, so grouted the last pot I had waiting in the multi-coloured series. This was a big pot. Will post pic tomorrow after I've put the grout sealer on.
I did the bed pan that's been waiting for the perfect time to grout as well.
I new this would take time as the tessera used on this project are quite thick. So mixed up heaps of grout and then started, it turned out ok. This has shown me though that it will take a good 3-4 hours work to grout the toilet in this series. I'll have to pick my time carefully.
Brushed both pieces to finish this morning they look great.
Ken and I chopped the silver birch tree down today, hope that will help the allergic problems I have been having recently. I have also started drinking some herbal teas from Divine Herbals, much nicer than the store bought ones. Look them up on facebook.
